Henriques won the toss and opted to bowl first at the SCG. The Renegades had to thank Tim Seifert (55) and Will Sutherland (36 not out) to take them to a score of 169/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, the Sixers lost Josh Philippe (5) early but James Vince (40) and Jack Edwards (37) did string a partnership, to pull the Sixers out of trouble. However, Sutherland dismissed Vince as the hosts lost wickets at crucial intervals.
In walked Henriques as the skipper along with Ben Dwarshuis (14) managed to hold in the death and take them over the line in a much-needed victory.
